We are pleased to welcome parties aboard and can offer an itinerary customised to your requirements. All our boats have bar facilities and serve a range of confectionery and snacks. We can provide catering to suit most requirements from a cream tea through to a buffet. Alternatively, your party can bring their own food.

We have two boats. Chiltern Countess is an electric powered craft with central heating. Princess of the Chilterns is a diesel powered vessel. Both can accommodate up to sixty people.

	Launched in 1991, Chiltern Countess specialises in corporate entertaining, wedding receptions and family celebrations but she is equally at home providing an afternoon cream tea cruise. Powered by a 5kW electric motor Countess gives near silent propulsion to her 65ft long, 12ft 6in wide hull. Seating is normally around tables with a wide variety of layouts available. There is a covered open deck at the front. The boat is centrally heated for Spring and Autumn cruising.
Chiltern Countess can accommodate a maximum of 60 passengers but the capacity varies depending on the seating layout and catering required. Our full range of food is available or you can book a self-catering cruise.

	Seating a maximum of 60 passengers, Princess, diesel powered and 56ft long and 10ft 6in wide, is our most popular vessel. On the standard layout most of the seating is around tables whilst for parties some seating can be removed to provide a circulation area, although this will reduce the number of passengers that can be carried.
	Our full range of food is available or you can book a self-catering cruise.

The prices shown on this site are per person, and include the indicated meal. These meals are detailed in the catering section of this page. All prices are current for the 2008 season.

There is a maximum number of passengers that can that can be carried on each boat. This number varies according to the type of meal being served, and there is also a minimum charge for each boat.

Note that for Group / Party 'package' trips, VAT is zero-rated, so is not applicable to the fares shown. However, if you order food separately from the boat trip, VAT is payable on the catering element. For more details, see our tariff page. Packages cannot be mixed on any one trip.

Special prices are available for senior citizen parties travelling midweek, excluding Friday evenings and public holidays.

We offer a variety of menus. These are shown on our menu page so that you can use your browser's Print option to obtain a printed copy.

We suggest that you start by telephoning to discuss your requirements, and to make a provisional reservation. Bookings must be confirmed in writing, and your provisional booking will be held for ten days while you send your letter/booking form and deposit (normally £80). We will then issue an invoice as confirmation of your booking. The balance is due 14 days ahead of your cruise, by which time you should have confirmed final numbers travelling. We have provided a booking form separately so that you can use your browser's Print option to obtain a printed copy to complete and mail to us. We regret that we are currently unable to accept bookings via the internet.

Disclaimer: Whilst every effort will be made to provide the boat requested, it may be necessary to use an alternative vessel if the booked boat is not available.
