All our trip boats can be chartered for Parties, or for morning, afternoon or evening trips. If you wish we can provide refreshments that can be anything from tea and biscuits to a four-course meal.

The Waterside Café is open from Fridays to Sundays between 10am and 3pm during the winter months and on Wednesdays to Sundays during the summer. The Café serves all day breakfasts, teas, snacks, light lunches and can usually cater for groups and parties by prior arrangement. The shop is open when trips are operating.

Pitstone Wharf early in the morning Betweeen Easter and October, at weekends and on selected other days you can join a Public Trip to Marsworth and back; some of these trips include a cream tea. Teas, drinks and snacks are available on board. You are strongly advised to reserve your seats in advance by telephone.

We have a pair of quality narrowboats for self steer Holiday Hire and short breaks. We will ensure that you know how to operate your boat safely and send you off on an adventure you won't forget! The adventure explained.

Princess and Kingfisher queue for the locks For a day out with your family or friends we have two little boats for self steer Day Hire that are really easy to drive for your group of up to ten. A day cruise is a splendid way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or family outing. Bring a nice picnic and maybe a bottle of wine. The boat has a small kitchen (galley) with running water and a toilet compartment so it is like a home from home. Once again, in 2008, these boats will also be available for evening hire during June and July.

Our base is a Marina with many privately owned narrowboats moored to jetties, a shop and toilet building, a slipway used to draw boats out of the water and a large car park; the whole is more than two acres in area.

We are easy to find, being about 8 miles from Aylesbury, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard. Access to the M1 and M25 motorways is straightforward making us easily accessible to customers from the south coast, Birmingham and London - Map.

There is always something happening at Pitstone Wharf, particularly on sunny summer weekends, so bring the family along and soak in the atmosphere of a working boatyard, or maybe take a ride on one of our frequent public trips.
